Meyer de Waal was recently privileged to be invited to present the introductory session of the Property Incubator, held in Cape Town, for aspiring black entrepreneurs who wish to enter the property market as developers and investors.
The Property Incubator is the brainchild of Nigel Adriaanse, the CEO of the Enterprise Development Property Fund who recently started the programme with the initial group of 39 aspiring entrepreneurs (19 in Cape Town and 20 in Johannesburg).
Meyer’s presentation focused on an overview of the Legal Framework of the Property Sector in South Africa.
Meyer says that this innovative project spearheaded by Nigel motivated him to further expand and share his knowledge built up over the past 33 years as a property practitioner combined with his experience in home ownership education and the development of innovative property solutions like Rent2buy, Property and FinTech products to mentor the young and upcoming entrepreneurs of the future and that he is excited to participate in the entire 24 month project.
