Become a successful property practitioner within your own law firm and expand your value-added offering – an information session
Typically, there are different stages in a property transaction, performed by different stakeholders in the property sale process.
- Sale
The first stage is the sale of the property – usually handled by a registered property practitioner (estate agent). - Finance
The second is the application for a home loan approval and, if required, a FLISP (First Home Finance subsidy) application. This is usually handled by a mortgage originator or a bank. - Execution
The third stage is the transfer of the property – which must be done by a conveyancer.
Attorneys do not have to wait for conveyancing work to be allocated to them; they can take control, facilitate all the transactions above, and generate income from these processes.
There are many legal pitfalls in a property transaction.
Too often, law reports show that property sale disputes could have been prevented if a single expert attended to the entire property transaction. That is, marketing the property, closing the sale, concluding the sale agreement, transferring the property, and finally dealing with the proceeds of the sale.
There is no better person than an attorney/conveyancer to handle both stages, professionally and cost-effectively, assisted by his or her professional team of property professionals.
This online information session will show you that it is possible to be an effective and successful property practitioner within your own legal practice.
The presenter will also share knowledge to assist clients with innovative sale and purchase structures such as Rent To Buy and/or instalment sale transactions, opening doors for many buyers to purchase their own home.
This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys to take full control of the entire process and substantially increase their income flow.
The incomes of many conveyancing attorneys are under threat. Here’s why:
